THIS WEEK IN THE STARS
I track planetary cycles alongside the usual indicators. Does it always work? No. But certain patterns show up in enough inflection points that I pay attention.
This week opens with pretty stable conditions overhead. Sun and Mars are both in Taurus, which tends to bring themes of steady progress and measured decisions rather than impulsive moves. In my experience, this kind of earth-heavy setup often lines up with consolidation — markets digesting recent moves instead of charging ahead.
The moon’s at 19.9 percent illumination, waxing crescent phase. We’re in that early momentum-building window after the new moon reset. Historically, this aligns more with quiet accumulation than dramatic breakouts. Energy building under the surface, but not quite ready to pop.
Here’s what’s interesting: no retrograde planets right now. That’s actually pretty uncommon. When everything’s moving forward, trends tend to continue with less friction. Doesn’t tell you which direction — just that whatever’s happening may keep happening.
Mercury and Uranus are both transiting Gemini, which I’ve learned to watch carefully. This combo can bring sudden information-driven moves — news events, regulatory announcements, that sort of thing. Venus and Jupiter sitting together in Cancer adds a protective quality that historically shows up as safe-haven seeking. Make of that what you will.
TRADITIONAL MARKETS WEEK AHEAD
Equity markets are riding some serious momentum into the week. The Dow crossed 50,000 recently. The S&P 500 breached 7,500 for the first time. Some of that’s tied to optimism around diplomatic developments.
S&P 500 sits near 7,394 with the trend still modestly bullish. I’m watching resistance between 7,420 and 7,450, with support holding around 7,360 to 7,375. Could we break higher? Sure. But my read is consolidation fits better with the current setup than aggressive expansion.
The Dow at 49,589 shows consistent but moderate strength. Nothing dramatic. It’s staying inside established bands, and I’d expect some sideways action before any big move.
Nasdaq’s outperforming at 26,078 — up 0.8 percent on the day when I pulled this data. Tech sector’s carrying the load. Momentum indicators look positive, and that Mercury-Uranus configuration could throw some catalysts at tech-adjacent names. That said, rising Treasury yields are a headwind I’m keeping an eye on.
Record highs plus rising bond yields creates tension. My guess? That tension resolves through sideways chop rather than continued vertical gains. We’ll see.
CRYPTO WEEK AHEAD
Bitcoin’s at 77,332, up 1.19 percent over 24 hours but basically flat on the week. Classic consolidation pattern with a slight bullish lean. Resistance sits between 77,500 and 78,000, support at 77,000 to 77,200. A clean break above 78,000 would tell me the uptrend’s back on. Sentiment reads neutral right now — geopolitical adoption stories mixed with broader uncertainty. The Taurus energy suggests patient holders might get rewarded, but this doesn’t feel like the time for aggressive positioning.
XRP has the strongest sentiment profile I’m tracking right now. SBI Group building Japan’s first XRP ETF is a big deal. But price action at 1.37 hasn’t moved much, which tells me the market hasn’t fully priced in the news. Resistance between 1.38 and 1.40 is the immediate hurdle. I’m watching for volume spikes to signal direction.
HBAR’s facing some headwinds. Analysts are warning about potential further downside. At 0.089, the price action looks compressed and indecisive. Support between 0.0885 and 0.0882 needs to hold or we could see a deeper correction. Sentiment’s at 4 out of 10 — that’s genuine concern about momentum, though the long-term institutional narrative hasn’t changed.
Ethereum at 2,129 is up 1.07 percent with decent daily momentum and weekly stability. Looks like an accumulation phase to me, even with headwinds from security concerns and delayed institutional stuff. Break above 2,150 confirms the bulls are in control. Support between 2,110 and 2,120 is the floor I’m watching.
COMMODITIES
Gold’s holding near 4,497 with minimal weakness. Risk-off sentiment seems contained for now. Looks like consolidation to me — I’d need a break above 4,510 or below 4,480 to get a real directional signal. That Venus-Jupiter configuration in Cancer historically supports safe-haven assets, so gold may find buyers on any real weakness. Iran tensions in the background provide some support too.
Silver’s the story here. Up 1.24 percent, hitting 75.76. That outperformance versus gold suggests increasing risk appetite and confidence in industrial demand. There’s a wealth transfer narrative floating around that seems to be attracting attention. Silver’s volatile though — respect that. The strength lines up with the broader bullish equity vibe.
KEY DATES TO WATCH
The moon keeps building toward first quarter phase later this week. That traditionally lines up with increasing momentum and decision points.
Mercury and Uranus both in Gemini all week means potential for information-driven volatility. Any major news drops, regulatory announcements, or tech developments could trigger fast sentiment shifts.
Watch the inflation data on the economic calendar. Rising Treasury yields and their impact on valuations is the concern everyone’s trying to figure out.
The Trump-Xi summit that’s been in the headlines could significantly move risk sentiment depending on how it plays out.
Iran remains a wildcard. Could affect energy markets and safe-haven flows with little warning.
WEEKLY POSTURE AND STRATEGY
Everything points toward measured accumulation this week. Nothing screaming to go all-in, nothing screaming to run for the exits.
Technical picture: equities at record highs with bullish momentum but potentially capped by rising yields. Crypto showing consolidation with a slight bullish tilt. Commodities mixed — silver strength, gold stability.
The astro setup emphasizes gradual positioning over aggressive action. No retrograde interference supports trend continuation. Waxing crescent aligns with early-stage accumulation, not breakout behavior.
Sentiment’s at 6 out of 10 — moderately greedy. Optimism without extreme positioning.
But I’ve got some risk flags on my radar. Rising yields pressuring valuations. Iran tensions creating uncertainty. Security concerns still hanging over crypto infrastructure. And that Mercury-Uranus wildcard could deliver unexpected news-driven volatility at any time.
My approach: accumulate quality on weakness, keep cash ready for volatility. Staged entries rather than full positions. This feels like a week for patient positioning, not chasing moves. The stable Taurus energy and lack of retrogrades favor deliberate action over impulse.
Honestly? I’m keeping some powder dry until things get clearer.
